Fire Magic has, historically, been the magic of choice for many colonies. Fire keeps predators at bay, cooks food, and keeps everyone warm. It lights the way through the darkness, and perhaps most importantly, it is the magic of choice when waging wars. Nothing comes quite as close as the power or threat that fire does.
If you are a student or born of Fire, then you very likely are able to withstand heat that would gravely injure other Storkatten. The strongest of Fire Magicians are able to walk through active volcanoes unscathed. What we do with that magic is our own, and Fire Magic is one of independence, choosing your own path for yourself

In short, what does Fire Magic cover?
Fire Magic covers all things hot, flammable, or combustion-related.
There are two core aspects to discuss regarding Fire-Magic Storkies.
This can cover a wide variety of aspects, but here are some more specific domains that Fire Magicians may do.

This form of Fire does not have a domain that is fundamentally different. Instead, practitioners may simply find themselves more drawn the flames of a different hue.

- The application of fire for cauterizing wounds.
- The application of heat for warming up those who are ill or unwell.
- Utilization of fire for combat purposes.
- Creating and utilizing widespread smoke for the purposes of stealth, combat, or preservation.
- The ability to withstand flames that would otherwise burn others.
- Creating fires for forges to work alongside Metal and Earth Storkies.
The applications of heat and flame are vast, and do not feel limited by this selection.

Those with Fire magic have vibrant orange eyes. The pupils should be round, and darker than the iris. The sclera should be white, unless the Dark Sclera trait is present.

Leveling Guide
Novice: Default Level
As a Novice Fire magician, you can manipulate tiny amounts of flame, such as the flame at the end of a candle, smoldering ashes, and light tinder. You have a knack for starting fires easier than others, however, you haven't quite gotten the hang of controlling bigger levels of flame. You have a higher than normal tolerance for heat than other Storkatten, and do not get burnt easily. You're still learning the basics of your element.
Access to the Divine Accessory Minor Magic Expression.
Advanced: Unlocked at 40 MP
As an Advanced Fire magician, you can now manipulate larger amounts of fire; small contained campfires, localized flames [ such as on a single branch on a tree ], and summon small balls of fire to play with. You're still working on control, but you're definitely getting the hang of it. You have quite the high tolerance for heat now, and can safely walk over smolders. You're still flammable, though, so be careful. You're starting to grasp the basics of your element.
Adept: Unlocked at 80 MP
As an Adept Fire Magician, you can manipulate significant amounts of fire, turning the tides of wildfires with some significant effort. Widespread flames are a challenge, but a doable one. You've got even more tolerance for heat now, able to walk through many flames without igniting yourself. You are no longer at a risk of your magic burning you, ever. You radiate ambient heat wherever you go.
Surely you've gotten into a few accidents by now, or perhaps given into Fire's natural inclination for violence?
Take some scars for yourself, or add a weapon or armor into your arsenal.
Master: Unlocked at 120 MP
As a Master Fire Magician, the amounts of fire you can manipulate are massive. You can start and stop wildfires at the drop of a hat. Even magma and molten-hot rock are incapable of resisting your commands. You can summon and command massive plumes of fire that do not need to actively be burning something to exist. Your understanding of fire, on a fundamental level, is nearly unparalleled. You are what many fire Storkatten aspire to be.
As a leveling reward, claim a Gift or Accessory from the Fire Paragon.

Unlocked at Adept, as soon as your Storkatten first begins earning MP. They may have small flames, covering up to 20% of the design. Your Storkatten may have glowing eyes. Master Magic Expression Unlocked at Master, when your Storkatten has reached 120 MP. They may have small patches of fur on fire and one body part made of flames, covering up to 50% of the design. Like the other base elements, we have been here for a long time. We do not claim to be the first, but we are one of the first. Fire Magic is considered a 'gift' from the Solar Gods to Storkatten kind; however, others would believe that Fire Magic was a gift from Storkatten kind to one another.
Myself, I took Fire Magic myself; walking into a wildfire and walking out unscathed. I walked in an Absent, and walked out with the knowledge of Fire Magic at my paws. Many have stories like my own; not born of the Fire magic inclination, but having an unexplained knack for it. In the early days, Fire Magic was very useful for heat and defense. Many forests were cleared to make room for new colonies; and with the control Fire Magicians can exercise, entire ecosystems weren't wiped out.
However, Fire Magic has a history steeped in conflict. When colonies go to war, it was often an easy choice to select Fire Magicians. Flames are a threat that require serious attention to combat, and many a war was won based on the more skilled Fire Magicians each side had. Of course, it also helped if they had a Water Magician worth their salt, however, for every flame doused by water; there is water turned to mist by the very same flame.
Fire's place in colonies has rarely, if ever, been up for debate over the ages. Even in modern times, there is use for the flame. Fire magic enjoys a secure spot as a widely recognized and useful magic.

Living Tinder
Parts of your Storkie's body can now be on fire! This is different than being made of flame, however, as it should be apparent the Storkatten is on fire. Of course, this is a harmless effect, and your Storkie can turn this on and off at will.
Will o Wisp
A living 'lantern' of sorts, a bundle of non-spreading flames that follow your Storkatten around. This is a rare Accessory that may be gifted to your non-Fire Storkatten if you so desire, as some Fire Storkies love sharing with their fellow cats. [If sharing, please link the cat it's going to when redeeming it.]
