Hybrid Magic
When breeding two compatible magics together, occasionally, a hybrid magic will be formed. This occurrence is incredibly rare, and only has a 1% rate of occurrence in compatible pairings.
Even when rolled during a breeding, if there is not a valid hybrid for the pairing, hybrid magic will not be created.
Gen One Hybrids cannot be created except under very, very rare circumstances, nor is there an autopass item or a guaranteed Hybrid-result item for Hybrid magic at this time.
Hybrid characters pass on the sources of their Hybrid Magic, rather than the magic itself, when breeding. Consider them special oddities.

Balance (Hybrid) Magic
Obtained through breeding opposing elements.
Effects
Hybrid Balance characters will be born with three magic types (consuming ALL three magic slots) - Balance, and the two opposing elements of their parents. The resulting kit will have heterochromatic eyes with one black sclera, even if the parents didn't have heterochromia or black sclera. This child will not pass heterochromia.
While this is a hybrid magic, it still only passes Balance. Listing any of the other magics as 'parents' is unneeded.

Chaos Magic
Obtained through breeding Balance and Trickster
Effects
Characters with Chaos magic may have one or both sclera colored, as long as the two are different colors, or the entire iris and sclera becoming swirls with up to three colors. It is not bound by the regular laws of magic, and can be ANY color in the rainbow as long as there are up to three distinct colors. Can additionally have a white pupil, or the Astral Sparkles if desired.

Forest Magic
Obtained through breeding Fungal and Plant
Effects
Those born with Forest magic may have dark, forest green eyes with grey-brown pupils, the color typical of Fungal magic.
Domain
By utilizing both fungus and plants, this character can essentially become it's own ecosystem, able to grow and break down and recycle life. As paragons, they have ecosystems on their backs.

Ghost Magic
Obtained through breeding Life and Death
Effects
Those born with Ghost magic may have eyes that are multiple shades of grey to black, with optional white pupils. The outline of the eye may be white. In addition, they may have non-passable bioluminescence or dark sclera. These traits may pass if inherited from parents.
Domain
Ghost magic deals with the spirits left behind after death; may be able to commune with them, assist them in speaking with others, and may also be able to bring them new life at Paragon Level. Alternatively, may help them cross to the Other Side. Rarely deals with anything outside of the realm of ghosts.
At Paragon level, whole body can become translucent and transparent, or just parts of it.

Those born with Hourglass magic may have orange eyes, with an hourglass-shaped pupil.

Obtained through breeding Water and Air.
Effect
Those born with Mist magic may have very light eyes, around #F2FCFC, with optional white pupils.

Manipulates mist, the weird gray area between water and air. Mist may be used for therapeutic effects, or may be used to make offensive and defensive walls. Can obscure vision with enough of it. The air portions of their magic tend to always be wet, and the water portions of their magic tend to always flow a bit freer.
At Paragon, the character's body may become partially mist, such as around the ears, paws, and tail.

Obtained through breeding Fire and Life

Those born with Rebirth magic may have fire-orange eyes, with white or light green pupils.

Rebirth mages are born with the innate ability to allow organisms to die in a burst of flame, before they revive. At Novice level, they can do this to plants. Advanced, to small creatures like bugs, mice, etc. Adept can do this to much larger creatures, including those who dwell in the water, and when they reach Master Level, they can finally perform it on themselves. At Paragon level, this ability can finally be extended to other sentient beings that the Paragon knows.

Manipulates smoke, can create smoke bombs for the purposes of stealth. Very popular with Blood mages for these uses. Master-level and Paragon characters may turn into a living cloud of smoke for some time. Smoke has a variety of uses. Clouds of smoke tend to be black or grey, but higher-leveled Smoke Hybrid Storkies may find themselves able to dilute or concentrate the smoke to their purposes.
At Paragon, clouds of smoke can obscure this Storkie at all hours; this character may also be imperceivable by those they don't want noticing them.

Obtained through breeding Water and Fire
Effects
Those born with Steam magic may have eyes that are a light grey-blue, around #EBF0F0. White pupils are optional.
Domain
Able to manipulate water in it's gaseous form. Steam procured from a Steam mage may have healing effects, similar to a sauna. Master-Level Steam Hybrids may turn into steam themselves for limited amounts of time to slip through matter in their various forms. May manipulate steam to glide around, similar to an Air mage. Their water abilities are always hot and their fire is more liquid than flame [ not lava, but behaves like water rather than fire ]
At Paragon level, steam may physically manifest around the ears, tail, or paws.

Those born with Storm magic may have dark gray eyes, around #2C2B2E, with bright yellow, purple, white or electric blue pupils.
Domain
Predicting when storms will arrive, can create localized thunderstorms. Roars may sound like thunder. May create larger storms or repel thunderstorms at higher levels.
At Paragon, may have thunderclouds hanging around them (glow, lightning around them, big gray clouds, etc.) May also have regular clouds, or lightning, clinging to them.

Can create enchanting tattoos using runic inscription painted on or tattooed onto another being. These enchantments can enhance their magic, give them temporary mastery over another magic, and more. At lower levels effect is temporary; at Paragon, it's permanent.
